Fourex featured in the Travel supplement of Sunday's edition of Svenska Dagbladet. We've included the translated article below and hope to see any Swedes that venture over to London in the near future at one of our kiosks!
The New Life of Coins
Do you have your chest of drawer full of baht and peso? Leftover coins from holidays abroad can be a struggle but with the advanced Fourex machines this issue can now be solved. They accept notes and coins from 180 different currencies and you can exchange the money for dollars, pounds or euros.
"It took us five years to build the kiosks. The biggest challenge was to create the technology behind the picture sensor in the machines", says Jeff Paterson, one of the founders. Right now you can only find the machines in London, such as at King's Cross and Oxford Circus. But after winning the Virgin founder Richard Branson's pitch-to-rich competition they are now focused on an international expansion. Fourex does not take any extra fees in your exchange and there is no minimum amount to use the machine.
